Rhythms occupy. They are present in time and space, in our bodies and societies. Working with female-identifying artists and a group of workshop participants from the city of São Paulo, we employed Henri Lefebvre's method of rhythmanalysis to identify spaces and forces that silenced different bodies in the everyday environment. Together we took to the streets to perform rhythmic disruptions and interventions involving occupation, gesture, sound and sculpture using found objects.
